Chiusa la piccola vetrina affacciata su strada in uno dei quartieri più multietnici di Milano, un nuovo Crepaccio si apre nell’immensa vetrina globale di Instagram e porta con se tutti gli artisti che accettano la sfida. L’ipervisualità in tempo reale dello spazio virtuale sta cambiando tutto, anche il modo di produrre, fruire e assimilare opere d’arte e mostre che sempre più spesso vengono viste prima (o, addirittura, esclusivamente) attraverso i social network. Inoltre, Instagram è pieno zeppo di creatività prodotta a getto continuo da chiunque per chiunque. In questo eccitante e selvaggio Far West iconografico, forse può (r)esistere ancora una specificità dell’immagine artistica; sicuramente ci sono modalità produttive ed espositive da esplorare e nuovi pubblici da raggiungere. Cosi il Crepaccio, da lunedì 13 novembre 2017, si è buttato nella mischia e prova ad usare Instagram come vero e proprio formato espositivo commissionando agli artisti dei contributi realizzati ad hoc (non riproduzioni di opere esistenti) con gli stessi strumenti con cui mezzo mondo produce e posta foto e video. Ogni settimana, dal lunedì al venerdì, sull’account Instagram del Crepaccio si sviluppa un inedito solo show fatto di cinque contributi commissionati ad un artista da @ilcrepaccio. Perchè, come va ripetendo Lady Tarin, sia a parole che con le sue immagini, "l'erotismo è la massima espressione di libertà". Lady Tarin is a woman taking pictures of women. She is not the first doing it, and she will not be the last one, but her gaze has an uncommon freedom. Tarin lays bare her models, only after putting them at ease, speaking with them, talking about erotism. To her, erotism means “vital strength based on the women's possibility of living their body” - so far away from any stereotype. On the occasion of Photo Vogue Festival, titled this year&nbsp;“The Female Gaze”, Lady Tarin takes on Il Crepaccio’s new challenge, leaving her camera to be a curator for once. Pochi tratti su fondi cangianti, ogni tanto musicati, che delineano tipi, spesso femminili, di quelli che incroci per strada o che prendono vita nelle fantasie. "Per chi li hai fatti? Perchè li hai fatti? Li voglio presentare al Crepaccio!!!”. Appena visti, e likkati, su Instagram Caroline Corbetta,&nbsp;genitrice della vetrina milanese,&nbsp;chiama Andrea e vuole sapere tutto su quei personaggi, su quelle tipe seducenti, forti, persino un po'sfacciate. "Quando faccio pressione con il dito sullo schermo selezionando un tratto e un colore non so cosa salterà fuori di lì a poco. Per cominciare, una macchia senza forma - potrebbe essere un viso. E quindi, a seguire, tratti che forse disegnano un collo,&nbsp;poi un gesto veloce...e il corpo è improvvisamente vestito. Il disegno non è mai premeditato ma prende forma facendosi.&nbsp;Il foglio bianco per me è una foto, o un video, archiviati nel mio telefonino, a cui aggiungo una campionatura musicale.&nbsp;Su questo "foglio digitale", che bianco poi non è,&nbsp;prendono forma, con un segno di dito,&nbsp;i tipi umani, spesso femminili, che incontro, che sogno, che mi piacciono. Le tipe umane. Che disegno per me”. Amici dai tempi dell'università, Caroline e Andrea si sono ritrovati anni dopo, quando le loro passioni si erano ormai trasformate nelle loro professioni. E non si sono più lasciati. All started last summer, when Andrea Incontri, creative director of Tod’s Uomo and father of his own fashion line, posted on his social channels a series of digital sketches, colourful and sexy illustrations, elegant and eccentric drawings. Few marks on shimmering background, sometimes musical, define guys, often women, of those you bump into on the street or you imagine in your mind. “Who you have made these for? Why did you do them? I want them at il Crepaccio!”. When Caroline Corbetta, pioneer of the Milanese window, saw and liked the drawings on Instagram, she immediately asked Andrea more about those characters, those charming, strong and also a bit cheeky women. “When I put pressure with my finger on the screen, selecting a stroke and a color I don’t know what it is going to happen. Firstly, a shapeless spot – that could be a face – appears. Then, other marks that are maybe a neck and then suddenly a fast gesture.. and there a dressed body. The drawing is never premeditated, but it takes form while making it.&nbsp;My white sheet is a photo, or a video, stored on my mobile phone, on which I sometimes add a music track. On this “digital sheet”, not at all white, human guys come alive, usually women that I meet, I dream, I like.&nbsp;The “Tipe Umane”. I draw them for&nbsp;myself”. Friends since university, Caroline and Andrea met each other again after ages, once their passions have become their professions. attraverso l’utilizzo della luce. ‘Hope’ è composta da una griglia tridimensionale realizzata con tubi di plastica a sezione quadrata e una luce in movimento controllata dal software Arduino.La luce sembra muoversi senza una logica dietro la griglia. Solamente uno spettatore paziente può capirne il significato: la luce lentamente scrive in successione continua le lettere H,O,P,E.Le lettere sono visibili filmandole tramite una lunga esposizione.‘Hope’ è la luce al fondo del tunnel.Si ringrazia Giacomo Leonzi per la codifica e l’implementazione di Arduino. ‘Hope’ is an installation site specific developed for Il Crepaccio, a showcase for emerging artists in Milan. Nucleo, invited by Carolin Corbetta as ideal connection between art and design, presents his first artistic light installation. ‘Hope’ is a tridimensional grid made by square plastic pipes combined with a moving light controlled via Arduino software. The light seems moving without any logic behind the grid. An optimistic and patient person can find out the meaning: the light slowly writes the letters H,O,P,E&nbsp; in an infinite loop. The letters are visible only filming them with a long exposition. ‘Hope’ is the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to Giacomo Leonzi for coding and implementing Arduino. scena, a pochi passi dal Teatro alla Scala, nella raffinata cornice di Palazzo Durini; più precisamente in quelle che furono le stanze dell’appartamento dell'ingegner Caproni, pioniere dell’aeronautica italiana. Prima della Prima Vol.2. è una festa tra arte e musica, allestita con gli amici di Pop Up, il programma radiofonico itinerante di Radio Popolare, condotto da Andrea Frateff-Gianni e Alberto Nigro ogni volta in un luogo diverso della nostra città. Il Crepaccio presenta il lavoro a quattro mani di Valerio Nicolai (1988)e Gianandrea Poletta (1984) che, insieme, sfidano l’eccentrico e raffinato ambiente ideando uno spettacolo ad hoc e one-shot che unisce performance, pittura e costumi&nbsp;scultorei. La festa va in onda in diretta da Palazzo Durini sulle frequenze di Radio Popolare, dalle 18.30 alle 20.30, con una puntata di Pop-up che anticipa “a modo nostro” l’evento clou della scena culturale e mondana milanese, la Prima della Scala. Una carrellata di ospiti speciali tra cui Caroline Corbetta, curatrice e capocordata de Il Crepaccio, Angelo Foletto, giornalista e critico musicale di Repubblica e Claudio Ricordi, conduttore di Rotoclassica su Radio Popolare, accompagnati dalle sonorità della cantante e musicista Sylvia, in un mix perfetto di elettronica e musica classica. &nbsp; Ultimo dettaglio, la tradizione meneghina vuole che alla Prima si vada in abito lungo, anche noi abbiamo il nostro dress code: tutti in tiro! incontrano per sbaglio il 17 aprile 2003 a Treviso. I due lavorano e studiano assieme, per qualche anno, Brunno torna nel caldo Brasile e Matteo rimane nella ridente nebbia milanese. A distanza di 12 anni i due si ri-incontrano nuovamente per sbaglio al Crepaccio portando un piccolo fardello dei loro ultimi lavori. Brunno arriverà con oggetti in terracotta, porta frutta, scatole, vasi e lampade, e altri pezzi in plastica riciclata, realizzate in Brasile; Matteo porterà trofei animali e piccole bestie frutto di orge animalesche, illuminate da lampade floreali traslucide. *** Brunno and Matteo meet accidentally in Treviso on 17 April 2003. After a few years of studying and working together, Brunno goes back to his native sunny Brazil and Matteo remains in the pleasant Milanese fog. After twelve years the two of them meet again accidentally at Il Crepaccio taking the burden of some of their latest works. Uno dopo l’altro, alcuni curatori di stanza a Milano, si passeranno il testimone all’interno della vetrina su strada. Una catena di Sant’Antonio insolita e produttiva che, in onore del “santo protettore” del Crepaccio, viene ribattezzata La catena di San Maurizio. Dopo il progetto Shooting gallery di Filippo Bisagni curato da Barbara Meneghel e Aftershape a cura di Luca Castiglioni la catena continua martedì 3 giugno con Newton a cura di Francesco Tenaglia. Newton è arrivato dallo spazio molto tempo fa. In un sogno ricorrente, abbraccia nuovamente la compagna e i figli che è stato costretto ad abbandonare in un mondo desertico per partire alla ricerca di un pianeta ospitale. Newton ci somiglia molto fisicamente ed è apparentemente riuscito a integrarsi con successo nella nostra società. Newton non ci apprezza, o meglio, non ci capisce veramente. Quando non è perso nella sua assillante fantasticheria familiare, passa il proprio tempo chiuso in una stanza a osservare tanti schermi televisivi sintonizzati su canali diversi. Quest’abitudine, nata come forma di studio sulla natura umana, è diventata una specie di bulimia. Le immagini e i suoni si moltiplicano, perdono il senso originario, si frammentano e si raggruppano per famiglie; si ripetono e formano storie nuove. Newton si compone di un video di Dario Guccio, di un testo di Ivan Carozzi e di un sound-piece di Larry Gus. Grazie a Samuele Anzellotti (graphics) e Marcello Tacconelli (montaggio). *** After its usual winter break, Il Crepaccio reopened, last March, its exhibition program starting some sort of a ‘curatorial chain letter’ (in Italian, Catena di Sant’Antonio). One after the other, some Milan-based curators will pass the baton to each other inside the street window. An unusual and fertile chain letter, which – in honor of Il Crepaccio’s patron saint - has been renamed La Catena di San Maurizio. After the project Shooting gallery by Filippo Bisagni curated by Barbara Meneghel and Aftershape curated by Luca Castiglioni the chain will go on on Tuesday, June 3 with Newton curated by Francesco Tenaglia. This routine – born as a form of study of human nature – has become a form of bulimia. The images and the sounds multiply, lose their original sense and are bound in new families, repeating themselves and forming new narratives.
